When was it invented? The Television was invented by many different people. The first concept of the television was sketched by Philo T. Farnsworth, who was 14 years old at the time, in 1922. But the first demonstration of television was by John Logie Baird in Hastings, England in 1923. BBC was the first company too use the Baird system and air the world's first television broadcasts in 1936. In 1954 the television was officially released for consumer use.
Where was it invented?Scottish inventor John Logie Baird employed the Nipkow Disk in his prototype video systems. He created his prototype in a little village called Santa Cruz on the island of Trinidad where he was recovering from an illness. He had also started work on the first color television. On March 25, 1925, Baird gave the first public demonstration of televised silhouette images in motion, at Selfridges Department Store in London
